Named for Sara Black, one of the occupants of the house during the Civil War era. A beautifully appointed Victorian room within the historic main house.

Jeremy’s Room

Named for Jeremy, the beloved child spirit said to reside in the Farnsworth House. Guests often leave coins by the casket in the cellar in his memory — each year donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Named for Mary Virginia “Jennie” Wade, the only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. She was struck by a stray bullet — believed to have been fired from the Farnsworth House — on July 3, 1863, at just 20 years old.
