These Terms and Conditions govern your use of farnsworthhouseinn.com and any services, reservations, or purchases made through it. By accessing this site or making a booking, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Reservations and Bookings
- Room reservations are processed through Eviivo. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of a valid payment method.
- Tour and activity bookings are processed through FareHarbor. Pricing, availability, and policies for tours are set at the time of booking.
- Fine dining reservations are by phone only at (717) 334-8838. Reservations are strongly recommended for the Meade and Lee Fine Dining Rooms.
Cancellation Policy
- Rooms: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before check-in receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in are non-refundable. No-shows are charged the full reservation amount.
- Tours: Cancellation and refund policies for tours are set by FareHarbor at the time of booking and vary by tour type.
- Shop purchases: All sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective. Contact us within 7 days of receipt to report an issue.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. In that event, a full refund will be issued.
Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are not guaranteed.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.
Property Rules
- The Farnsworth House Inn is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside any building on the premises.
- Pets are not permitted unless otherwise arranged in advance.
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property caused during their stay. Damage will be charged to the card on file.
- Out of respect for the historic nature of the property, guests are asked to treat all furnishings, artifacts, and common areas with care.
- Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Paranormal Investigation and Media Access
All investigation, filming, photography, and media requests must be submitted and approved in advance through the official request form on our website. Unauthorized filming or commercial use of content captured on the property is prohibited. Approved access is subject to a separate agreement.
Shop and Purchases
- Online purchases are processed through WooCommerce and Square. Payment information is handled securely by these providers.
- Military antique items are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Once sold, they cannot be restocked.
- We ship within the contiguous United States. Shipping times vary by item and are noted at the time of purchase.
- All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website including text, images, logos, and page designs is the property of the Historic Farnsworth House Inn and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
The Historic Farnsworth House Inn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or services booked through it. Our total liability for any claim related to a booking or purchase is limited to the amount paid for that specific transaction.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on this site but do not guarantee that all content is current or error-free. Hours, pricing, and availability are subject to change.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Adams County, Pennsylvania.
